Navigon 2200T Review

LAPTOP Magazine
3 February 2009
  • Summary: For $229, the Navigon 2200T offered everything we could ask for in a value-price GPS device: accurate directions and a sharp and colorful screen. It reported traffic accurately, and we enjoyed the Lane Assistant Pro feature for getting through tough intersections and off of tricky exits. While it doesn't offer extras like a photo viewer or music and video players, those are extraneous.

Navigon 2200T GPS Navigator

PC Magazine

  • Conclusion: If you can live with a 3.5-inch screen, the Navigon 2200T, with its free lifetime traffic update subscription, is an excellent GPS bargain.
  • Pros: Small and thin. Text-to-speech conversion. Multisegment routing. Handy features including Reality View Pro and Lane Assistant Pro.
  • Cons: Small points-of-interest database. Relatively limited POI search capabilities. Includes maps for the continental U.S. only.
