Summary: i bought this device may of 2011, it is not a good product. it takes a long time to aquire a satellit signal (5-10 minutes) . the touch screen is not responsive enough . it finally stopped working on my last trip to houston tx. it will not start(no screen display even when plugged directly into the power source). you would think that gps devices should last longer than a year. just don't buy this piece of junk.
Summary: Bought this for my wife for Christmas....stopped working after about 3 trips.....retailer said over thirty days so won't let me return it to them.....motorola says they don't make GPS anymore..might get a credit for anohter product I don't need....
Summary: This navigation system is a great IDEA but a bad implementation. I bought it because CNET gave it a favorable review. I bought this system for travel to use in rental cars. I tested it at home in NYC and it had a hard time pinpointing my location - while the built-in navi in my Honda CRV is always absolutely accurate. I then took it to perfectly open skies and highways in Tampa FL and it still didn't work!
Summary: I can't believe Amazon and Motorola are still selling this product. There is NO support for this product so when it says free traffic and map updates it is meaningless. I like the product itself but the maps do need to be updated as I have found 5 errors already with the map locations. Motorola and Amazon owe all the people who bought this unit an appology and a refund. Why, why would you keep selling this knowing it is not supported anymore.
Summary: I previously wrote a positive review that you can still view at the bottom in parenthesis. This changed and here is why: - the first unit I ordered was not working from the start on (the hard buttons outside did not function). The return was not easy, since I had to be refunded and then buy a replacement from a different merchant through Amazon, - the second unit worked fine (except voice recognition - which simply does not work) for about 3 month and then died.
Summary: I purchased Motonav TN765T on November 14. Another review is needed for the delivery service particularly for the falsely "claimed attempted delivery" by the USPS. The Motonav TN765T set up and operation was easy and intutive and easy, but this unit takes too long to search for the GPS satellites. My Motonav TN765T came preloaded with maps that are more than one year old. As directed in the product manual I went to Motorola websites, [...] and [...

Summary: BEWARE! Motorola no longer supports this device, or any other GPS device. After 45 minutes on the phone with Motorola Support (1-800-331-6456 #2) and speaking with three different representatives, none of them could tell me when the next map update will be released. The current upgrade, and they are still charging $79 for it, is two years old (4th quarter 2009). They could not even tell me who makes the maps.
Summary: I bought this because I have had Garmin GPS units before and thought I would give Motorola a try. Big mistake, this GPS sometimes sends you in circles, that's the least of the problems. This GPS is always locking up, needing a reset, and to reset it you can't use something like a pen, because it's too big for the hole, you need something like a paper clip, and who drives around with a paper clip ? And just recently the power cord broke leaving the GPS useless.
Summary: This gps was overheating from the day I hooked it up.And finally the screen went dark on the right side and would not return to a good picture. The maps are out of date and their is no update 2009 maps are their latest update..My main peeve is the dark screen and the no customer service.I tried to call the number for customer service and was connected to Dish Network. This is the worst attempt at making a gps I have ever seen.It lasted a only 3 months before it went bad.I...
