Summary: My TN20 died & wouldn't charge.I contacted on line SUPPORT "chat" 3 times FINALLY GOT TELEPHONE MAIN NUMBER after 51 minutes, HOLDING & transfers. Finally got through to a TN20 Rep WHO WAS MORE OR LESS SHORT & RUDE. He said this model IS NO LONGER MADE OR SUPPORTED.
Summary: Ordered this GPS because I had one before...was suppose to be new...screen had evidence of scratches and when plugging it...was stuck in Mexico and could not change the location...the screen would not respond... very disgusted with item...not event worth the effort of returning...
Summary: DON'T BUY THIS! Updates are not available for this unit - THEY NEVER WERE. Maps are from 2007. Beware: sellers will not tell you about outdated maps and unavailability of new data. Box does not state updates are unavailable. Motorola does not care either.
Summary: This GPS is the worst ever. Do not waste your money on it. I live in southern California, and it constantly gives the wrong directions, especially when you are on the highways. It becomes worse when I traveled to the Bay area. It becomes a garbage there.
Summary: it would be a great unit if you could update it. the moto-web-site says " for legal reasons we can only update units in warranty" dont buy it unless you're going to use it where no more streets will ever be added !
Summary: I purchased this G.P.S. System because i get lost very easily. I seen this one and thought it was a great price for something I really need. I won it, I received it, and then i read the directions and attempted to put it to use, that when everything went wrong.
Summary: We bought this for Christmas 2010 new. When maps were finally loaded (they weren't pre-installed and instructions are awful), we find out that the maps are 2008. Tried contacting Motorola but was referred back and forth between call center and web site.
Don't Buy This GPS - Maps are so outdated without support
Bella Vista, Amazon
11 December 2010
Summary: Motorola will not support their GPS. The maps are so outdated and there are no update for more than 2 years. Call Motorola and ask them about their Maps support before you buy any of their GPS. The answer is "Don't Know"...
