Summary: Top hardware, and free to work with any navigation software. Mio P550 also have wireless, and work great with any kind of software video or audio. If you update rom to WM 6.1-6.5 you can use 32 GB SdHC. My choice WM 6.1, low resource, fast move, and fast answer on touchscreen.
Best GPS ever especially in Europe, Asia & Middle east

Summary: I bought 5 of them for my family and friends and they are the best GPS out there. They work fine in US except the outdate MS. They are excellent in Europe, Asia, and Middle east. Those Gps work like a pro finding the satellite and all the other great features. I had other GPS and they don't even come close as good as the Mio GPS. Stop reading and doubting and get one now if you are planning a trip soon. You won't be disappointed.
Best GPS ever...all other Gps's are trying to catch up.

Summary: I had purchased 5 of them and they are all great. Yeah I know there are other top brands and I am sure you are asking why is it the best? simply I did not have any problem how about 5 years in a row. You probably saying its just luck!!! how can you explain 5 units and no problem. Hmmm I just love them and can't get enough of them. I am purchasing another one soon. All my family are using them and they love them.
Summary: I bough it at a very low price because was refurbished from the factory. It is working excelent and I am very satisfied about it. You can install any navigation software wich you like. I have installed the iGO8 and MIO Map and is working better than any Garmin or Tom Tom systems. In iGO8 I installed the 3D map and it's amazing. These systems are more used in europe. US dont know too much about them but they sould learn up.
Summary: I've had my new Mio P550 for about a week now and I like it. The first thing I noticed was the screen has much better contrast compared to the h-p IPAQ hx2495b I also have. Also, there is no need to calibrate the touch screen as is the case with the h-p. At 6 oz, the Mio is 1 oz lighter than the h-p, though the h-p seems to have a somewhat more rugged case and a display shield. Still, I would not want to drop either onto the floor or sidewalk.
Summary: MIO P550 has a solid construction feel and MIO Map is EXCEPTIONAL. The smart zoom feature truely showcase user interface excellence. My 06 Jeep's factory navigation (which is made by Alpine with Navtech) does not even come close with the amount of features. Useful features include graphical display that informs you Satelite signal, user selectable display on car speed, time, and destination distance etc.
Summary: I bought this PDA/GPS wondering if it could possibly deliver all the features that it advertises. Well guess what? It does! My old PDA (ViewSonic V37) was great but I had to get rid of it because it wasn't Vista compatible. This one synchronised immediately with my Outlook settings the first time it was attached to the computer. It also found my wireless network (as well as my neighbours unprotected one!) the instant that I turned on the built-in wireless.
