Summary: Worst piece of crap ever, do not buy this piece of junk. I had a used garmin from amazon, used it for 10 years before it finally broke. Bought this and used it for 1 trip, junk. Resold it and now i'm getting another Garmin.
Summary: Don't bother purchasing this or ANY Mio GPS product. The company went out of business in 2009 and it is now impossible to update any maps. My GPS is running on maps from 2008. It's starting to be difficult to navigate around the city.
Summary: Paid for a "new" item, came in an open box, open bag inside, scuffs on unit... plugged it in, map does not include my neighborhood, and tech support says Mio no longer supports North America.... 90 bucks down the drain.
Summary: DO NOT,I write DO NOT purchase this product. My mother gave one of these to my husband and I for Christmas. She said it was "on sale" for 70 dollars at radio shack(they still make those)?......anyhow, this device does not even have my home address as an actual location. I am in a well established area! It has led us to dead ends, down one ways, and nowhere near where we thought we were going. Embarrassing!
Summary: I purchased this device from the local Radio Shack for a friend. In attempting to update the maps on this device we were forced to contact technical support in an attempt to find the "product key". In the short, but pleasant, discussion with the Mio representative I found out that Mio would no longer be providing updates to the maps for this device.
Summary: The interface for entering a location or direction is not intuitive on the unit. It only comes with the car charger. One wonders why there is not a USB cable and home charger too. Worst of all, it is not Mac OSX compatible and there is no software to use for the Mac. Also, Mio customer service is really, really horrible. UPDATE: I've lowered the rating on this unit because after using it on various trips, I have learned how inaccurate it can be.
