Summary: 1. Very simple to operate 2. Gives detail map and streets 3. Super price point. I purchased the head only. I was able to use my windshield mount and existing electrical plug. Moov does not have enough exposure in the American market.
Summary: Unit has lots of great features, simple to use and accurate. I've had very good experiences with it over the last three weeks and 3500 miles. Only needed to reset unit once. Summary: "The Mio Moov 500 series pictured is the same physical device as the S555 I purchased in September 2010 as the salesman's "newest model". On my blind presumption that I could buy maps for other regions, I unfortunately discovered this model only comes with maps of the Middle Eastern countries. I also paid WAY TOO MUCH in the Emirates at over $400 US. The outside of the box FALSLEY states "2010 Maps" --- yet there are no maps included that are less than 3 years old!!!
Summary: I just bought this GPS at radio shack and it works great. I have been able to find my way through Boston and Portsmouth, NH both a hard to navigate through. I would not spend over $200.00 on it though.
Summary: This GPS has a large and bright screen. The satellite connection is fast. The database is useful. And if you look around hard enough, you may find it at sale prices as low as $120, which would be a great value. Then why did I give it just 3 stars? First, the antenna reception is mediocre. The database is basic. The software is not the most intuitive. Instead of "Stay on the highway", the voice instruction says "Keep left", which still confuses me sometimes.
