Summary: "The Mio Moov 500 series pictured is the same physical device as the S555 I purchased in September 2010 as the salesman's "newest model". On my blind presumption that I could buy maps for other regions, I unfortunately discovered this model only comes with maps of the Middle Eastern countries.
Summary: I just bought this GPS at radio shack and it works great. I have been able to find my way through Boston and Portsmouth, NH both a hard to navigate through. I would not spend over $200.00 on it though.
Summary: I asked for a basic GPS for Christmas and got this one. I know nothing about GPS so I have nothing to compare it too. The first place we were going was to the Philadelphia zoo as we live in NJ. We know how to get there, but wanted to see how the Mio worked.
Do Not Waste your time - no calibration nor customer service

Summary: From Customer Service to the product, please save yourself the time and frustration that I have spent. I purchased the MOOV 500 in October 2008. About two months later I noticed that the calibration was off about 1/4 of an inch.
Summary: This GPS has a large and bright screen. The satellite connection is fast. The database is useful. And if you look around hard enough, you may find it at sale prices as low as $120, which would be a great value. Then why did I give it just 3 stars? First, the antenna reception is mediocre.
