Summary: Used this GPS for 3 years, still love it. Sometimes want to update a newer model, I went to store to try some newer one, in the end , this one still is the best on the market. Exclusive features stands it out of all the plain GPSs. Windows Like drag and move map;point to go without knowing the exact address, this is super nice feature to go to any place showed on map; Fast re-route; Map view automatically switched to large, lots of feature.
Summary: I bought this GPS a week ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this GPS Mio C520. It has full functions map, video and pictue player, BT, and speakerphone. The 4.7 size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 2.5 hours. Only thing is that if accessory included MapDVD, it will be more better.
Summary: I have owned this unit for about 4 years now and can say that it is a pretty good unit. When I purchased this GPS, I had never heard of Mio. I looked at Garmin, Magellan, TomTom and a few other brands that I hadn't heard of. I purchased the Mio at the recommendation of the salesman after being shown several units. I will admit, the original maps had a few quirks.
Summary: Title says it all. This was my first GPS and we bought it soon after we bought our car. We have literally traveled all of US with this amazing GPS and it has taken us to our destinations without a glitch. The menu browsing is perfect. Looks neat with only power switch button on the top. Although I never used the video/MP3 capability, but I just downloaded a song for kicks and the sound quality wasn't that bad.
Summary: Short, sweet: The GPS hardware is top rate. The software WAS best in it's class (it still is - but that newer version doesn't ship on this device - hint!), and still holds it own against all the others (garmin, tomtom) Just out of the box i'd still get this over any other anywhere near it's price range. Back to the software Mio stopped working with this to focus on their miomoov series.. My advice?
Summary: My Mio was stolen and I liked this model so much that I had to find a replacement. I found the identical model on Ebay and it runs flawlessly. I suggest to anyone looking for a GPS unit to look at the Mio line of GPS's. They are by far the best units I have worked with.
