Summary: I have had the Mio GPS for about 10 months. I loved it until the sound went out. I didn't have the receipt, but their website stated they would honor the warranty for 1 yr from manufacturing date without a receipt. However, their customer service STINKS!!! They told me I would have to have the receipt, even though their website states differently. They were rude and very unprofessional.
Summary: After using the Mio C520 for over 3 months now I truly regret I bought it. the device performs poorly in route calculation choosing the most bizarre routes you would ever imagine. Fortunately also owned a Garmin 200W and the TomTom One. both outperform the Mio in suggesting much faster and more logical routes. THIS IS THE MOST BASIC FUNCTION OF A GPS DEVICE! The bluetooth speakerphone is useless as there's so much background noise.
Summary: Overall this product has a lot of features and gives good bang for the buck.. but the fact that this product crashes and has to reboot, as well as incomplete maps keeps this product from getting 5 stars 1. the software is built on windows ce 5.0, so basically this is a specialized PDA. that is bad, because windows tends to crash. this device has crashed on me 3 times already in 10 hours of driving use.
Summary: Mio C520. Attention !
