Summary: Not as good as I thought it would be. Maybe experience would have been better if I bought it new. No dock to hold onto GPS while driving, no manual and tutorial is not helpful. All the pervious location have been saved making the task for me all the more difficult. Not a simple device to use unlike tomtoms. Oh and it does not stay on and there is no power cord except the car charger. Recommomend buying new or other brand.
Pros: good screen size...nice frame...and that's about it
Cons: Everything it could go wrong with a GPS happens to this machine. Many times it blocks and you just realised you've missed what you were looking for...half an hour before. Not to mention wrong or one way streets...maps are ridiculously inaccurate.
Cons: Bought in 2009. Bought Eastern Eu maps. Then got free Western Eu update. But not Eastern EU. After lots of mails with support, bought new East EU key, but is uninstallable. Support does not reply to mails.
Pros: Love the symbols eg. garages, stations, restaurants
Cons: Got cheated with the disk that was in the original box. It was blank. Customer support would not send a disk and sent me a Chinese download, in 5 years I will be able to read and write Mandrin Chinese. Now my GPS has no voice and no update
Cons: I gave this as a gift but within a week of use, according to Mio's customer service rep, the software became corrupted and needs to be reprogrammed. I should be able to do this from my pc but it just ain't workin' that way.
Summary: This item is worthless. It was broken when it arrived, totally refusing to perform any of its functions, or respond to it's controls-it wouldn't even acquire the needed satellite signals. It lit up, and that was all. After several tries, I returned it. Satisfaction? None.

Summary: I just got off the phone with Mio, as I tried to learn how to turn on the "optional" traffic report service I was told (by the salesman in the store where I bought it) I would have to buy a subscription to. Mio says "The model 300 does not have the hardware built in for receiving traffic reports... but that feature will be available in the future." No date was given. But I was told that the Moov 310 has traffic reports built in.
