Very disatisfied with customer service from Magellan

Summary: We have no problem what so ever with City Electronics. We ordered on 11/26/12, received it on 11/30/12, very fast shipper. And the problems began. While trying to load Vantage Point, our flatscreen went crazy and the computer crashed. Fortunately we had back up and 24 hours later tried again with the same results.
Summary: I am extremely happy with the vakue and quality of the product. It boots up quickly and works very simply even for the not so savy GPS users. The maps are easily upgraded and cheap compared to other GPS companies.
Summary: This expensive GPS was supposed to be new and not refurbished, but the battery compartment was corroded with battery acid and after replacing the supposedly new batteries, we found the spring on the negative side was broken off. The unit only stays on for a few seconds and turns itself off.
Summary: I just used this GPS on a four day hiking trip and it was remarkable. I read a lot of the reviews on Amazon and noticed the negative reviews seemed to come from less than tech savoy individuals. I bought this GPS as factory refurbished knowing that a refurb had to be checked 100%. And had no technical issues while in the field. Yes, it takes a few minutes to start up and lock on to satellites but once locked on even thick woods and deep valleys can't stop this thing.
Summary: Don't buy this if you want to use it on the water. It is apparently not compatible with the nautical charts offered by Magellan and they don't respond to any inquiries as to what will work. My experience tells me not to buy any Magellan products for their lack of support and false advertising.

Summary: I bought my Triton 400 from Wal-Mart in March of 2010. The first one was defective. I took it back and exchanged it for the last one they had in stock, which had been opened by someone. (Probably returned and they just put it back on the shelf to be sold again.) It was defective also.
