Summary: The unit I've gotten myself has more wear and tear than I thought it would have. It seems like it may have gotten some water damage due to corrosion on the inside around the battery. The battery springs arent even attached and when using the locator it seems to have trouble with keeping a signal. I go geocaching and It often says I'm 400 feet from the target then 18 feet when I haven't moved.
Summary: I bought this device because we are the family of travellers (by bike and by camper) and I've been looking for such a device for a long time and have read a lot of reviews as well. It is very convenient in use and simple at the same time. The best thing is that it supports both formats of maps (not sure how to name them in English). I can't actually compare this device with others as I've never used anything of the type.

Summary: I rate this as 5 Stars! Across the board it very easy to use,it saves all my way-points and works great no problems, also lets you set the light which on a lower setting saves the battery.Very easy to figure out,and use.
For the price, this is a great little GPS for hitting the trails.

Summary: The display is a little hard to see in bright sunlight. You have to press buttons to keep the backlight on or set the delay to a longer period. This will also eat up your battery life quicker. It is pretty good for searching for Geocaches.
Summary: If you own a Windows 7 Operating System BEWARE. I work in IT and I had the biggest nightmare trying to get this gps to communicate. This gps is definitely for IT savvy people. The gps communicates via USB to COM port. This causes a major conflict in Windows 7 which will blue screen it and fail to transfer data. After 24 hours of beating my head on the wall, I traded my windows 7 for windows xp service pack 3. Reinstalled the software and got it running.

Summary: I bought my Triton 400 from Wal-Mart in March of 2010. The first one was defective. I took it back and exchanged it for the last one they had in stock, which had been opened by someone. (Probably returned and they just put it back on the shelf to be sold again.) It was defective also.
