Summary: For geocaching: The information I was given said this would be compatible with a Mac to send caches to the GPS unit. It is not. Only Xplorist is compatible for this. Unfortunately, I bought this used and cannot return it. At first, I was able to input caches by hand, which takes forever. But then soon after, even with new batteries, the unit would not turn on unless I had it plugged into the computer's USB port.
Summary: i use it in my fishing boat and record my fishing spots that are good so that i can go back to them. but i had to order a manual to take with me in the boat to read how to record and store the information.
Summary: I got this for Christmas 2012. Needed a firmware upgrade to actually work. Now every time I plug the USB cable in to either of 2 windows 7, 32 bit, 2 way, 2 gig Ram systems the GPS causes a blue screen of death where the core says Magellan stepped on memory. Sent an email to support. They asked me first to try the unit on another PC with a different operating system. Not gonna happen. I don't stock multiple PCs or operating systems. I'm a home user.
Very disatisfied with customer service from Magellan

Summary: We have no problem what so ever with City Electronics. We ordered on 11/26/12, received it on 11/30/12, very fast shipper. And the problems began. While trying to load Vantage Point, our flatscreen went crazy and the computer crashed. Fortunately we had back up and 24 hours later tried again with the same results.
Summary: I am extremely happy with the vakue and quality of the product. It boots up quickly and works very simply even for the not so savy GPS users. The maps are easily upgraded and cheap compared to other GPS companies.
Summary: This expensive GPS was supposed to be new and not refurbished, but the battery compartment was corroded with battery acid and after replacing the supposedly new batteries, we found the spring on the negative side was broken off. The unit only stays on for a few seconds and turns itself off.
