Summary: I use the Tritin 200 for hikeing and prospecting. When I pick up a rock sample, I record its location so there is no doubt about where it came from. The unit has many nice features, but i'm still learning. Nice clear screen. It seems a little hard on batteries, but should last at least 2 hours on a set. Great value for the money.
Summary: Great for the money. Basic map is not only weak, but is not aligned with the GPS (about 1000 ft off at times). If you purchase the digital globe maps ($30/year) this is a very functional GPS. Waypoints, however, are not always accurate. The compass only works while moving. Still, great price!
Summary: good shape. run good. Hooks right into my PC. Good sceen size. water prof for 30 min in the water runs well in highheat. very close to being right on speed and derctions. Set up for outdoors man.
Summary: I bought the Magellan unit solely to go geocaching though it can help me remember a hot fishing spot if I need it to. I like the color screen, that the GPS is waterproof, seems very accurate and feels durable. The "belly button" navigation can get a bit tedious but is less so the more I use the GPS and get familiar with the menus.
Summary: What I like? This item has exactly what you need to geocache and hike with so bear in mind that is exactly what it was intended to be used for. I see many reviews that put this unit down. It's accuracy is superb and better than what I expected for the price which is an A+ for this unit.
