Summary: Magellan makes a nice unit with a big 7 inch screen. It has a lot of good features designed specifically for RV'ers. I have had previous Roadmate versions and was very happy - EXCEPT for one thing. The touch screen is very annoying because you may need to touch an item 3 or 4 times before it accepts the input. Somewhere I read to use your fingernail instead. I tried that and it worked just fine. Maybe if you used a stylus, it would work better.
Summary: The touch screen is very sensitive. If you are off just a bit, the screen switches to something you didn't want. Also, some of the routes given are way too long or go around in circles. Just not in love with it.
Use of a GPS puk along with a hotspot may be a better way to go

Summary: This product is cumbersome to operate and forces you to do trip planning in a way that is not intuitive. We expected it to be similar to the www.goodsamclub.com online trip planning software but it is not and does not seem to provide the location of dump stations which is important. The 3D mode only showed a 2D view. We will look elsewhere for a navigation solution. Use of a GPS puk along with a hotspot may be a better way to go.
Summary: This is my third GPS and the only and last Magellan I will purchase. It has a number of problems in the system that I have reported to them. They indicated that the problems will be corrected at the next up date. No updates have been posted to date.
Summary: I took this GPS in my 32' class A motorhome with car-transporter in tow from Columbia, SC, all the way south to Pensacola, FL and I did not have a problem at all driving the 600 miles thanks to this unit. Unit is sized well and the display gives me a good heads-up as to my surroundings and where I can stop for fuel, snacks and a campsite. It comes with a very good stand which adheres to almost anything with a flat surface.
Summary: Purchased the GPS unit to use on our four-week long summer RV vacation across the country. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I've owned five or six other GPS units (not Magellan) for years with commercial trucks used in my business. I understand how they work, programming, etc. Without going into too much detail, it kept saying "WARNING" every 30 seconds or so. I muted the volume and it continued to warn of unpaved roads ahead?
