Summary: This GPS is good but it does have its flaws, I guess it depends on where you by it, I bought it in Massachusetts and it worked fine, I traveled to Tennessee with no problems but started having problems using it in the country roads.
Summary: I've used 4 different GPS's over the years. 2 are so ancient they don't compare to modern GPS's like this one. We loved my 4 year old Magellan Maestro 4350, but we recently cracked its screen. So we updated to this Magellan which is basically just an upgrade of our old unit. Many of this units features are the same, especially menu access. It does have a slightly larger screen, free congested traffic notifications / rerouting, & free red light camera notifications.
Pros: Free Traffic updates; traffic camera warnings; easy to use
Cons: Many features from older models degraded / lost
