Summary: I found the GPS unit to be awkward, bulky and quite disappointing. It compares so poorly with my previous TomTom units or even my GPS capable cell phone. I can not see me buying another Magellan GPS unit. Life is too short to compromise that much.
Summary: Magellan Customer service is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They offer a free 30 day map update since all of their products ship with out of date maps. This would be a good thing except it is in the fine print of their products and their customer support email address that their website list is the wrong address. I had to get through to their customer service by posting a bad review on their website.
Summary: This unit is not worth the money. Unfortunately I gave this unit as a gift to my mom, helping her set this item up was a nightmare, the unit itself is gorgous, and the keys are beatifully back-lit, however the software included is a bit confusing, does not find addresses too well, and to top it off the unit is extremely extremely slow.
Summary: Thought it was a great deal. It worked great for about 30 minutes. Then froze. Then wouldn't reboot all the way. Froze again. Rebooted randomly. Returned the product ASAP for a refund. I personally wont go with this brand again. Their higher end units might work, but I am a little upset the lower end unit didn't work. I expected a quality product, just with fewer features. What I got was a product riddled with defects.

Summary: It looked like a great unit...Good screen size, great brand, easy to use. Well, it stops there. We bought it, because we drive around the country in the summers. Tried it out...Going from our home to the Target store 6 miles away...Type in T-A-R-G-E-T...What comes up? Some school 90 miles away...Huh?...Tried N-O-R-D-S-T-R-O-M...Got a park about 200 miles away...How about W-A-L-M-A-R-T?...Nope...What about 'Attractions' in San Diego?...SD Zoo..Yeah..
