Summary: This was a very easy and satisfactory transaction. As with any new product, it is taking me a little time to get used to it. Wish it had a charger I could plug into the car's port instead of having to plug it into a wall socket, but I can probably buy a converter for that.
Summary: This GPS works well, it takes longer than others I've tried to pickup satellite signal but once it does is extremely accurate. It has the GPS standard features and the buttons in the front come very handy. However the buttons on top for Zooming aren't in a good spot as is very easy to click on them incidentally while adjusting the GSP on the mount. Otherwise, is a good value GPS.
Summary: I bought this for my mother-in-law. It works great and she has not gotten lost since she started using it. The voice is easy to hear and understand and the directions are mostly accurate. Easy to use and read.
Summary: My wife had an earlier unit just like this one and she really got our moneys worth. Plus she was real familiar with how to use the Roadmate 3000T. We decided to stick with something that had given her good service.
Summary: Pros: Cheap, works well, and has accurate maps. Works right out of the box Cons: Button placement/size/sensitivity. POI database a little out of date The Bottom Line: A good, solid unit that is accurate and easily readable, with a few shortcomings that could be overlooked for the price.
Summary: We took a trip to western Canada shortly after getting this GPS. I really worked well. I needed a lot of help traveling through that part of Canada. We got lost a couple of times, but "Maggie" usually was able to find us and get us back on course.
