Summary: This was a very easy and satisfactory transaction. As with any new product, it is taking me a little time to get used to it. Wish it had a charger I could plug into the car's port instead of having to plug it into a wall socket, but I can probably buy a converter for that.
Summary: I bought this for my mother-in-law. It works great and she has not gotten lost since she started using it. The voice is easy to hear and understand and the directions are mostly accurate. Easy to use and read.
Summary: It has big screen and ease for use, but it's pricy to update maps and sometimes it "thinks" too long to recalculate the path. It seems to me also that this GPS lives with "one's own mind" - it could start to recalculate straight path on the way. It' really weird.
Summary: This is my 3rd GPS, but first one for my vehicle that gives navigation. I have found it very user friendly once you learn how to back up screens. Have not used a manual yet. Only drawbacks I have found are some of the POIs are outdated if the business has moved in the last year, the internal battery...
Summary: So I get it, works like a charm, I think it is awesome with 2 things I think could be much better. 1. The mount is terrible, I'm not a 4 foot tall man, so in my car and mounted I have to duck down to see the screen as the mount does not adjust at all, it looks like it will but it does not. 2.
Summary: I purchased this to be used primarily by someone who is very non-tech oriented and has a lousy sense of direction. She warmed up to it immediately and has been able to use it quite successfully. The screen is a nice size, with very good brightness and settings which will adjust as needed.
Summary: Main reason that I purchased this GPS is that it comes with the Sirf III chip. This is the newest GPS chip on the market and it makes it alot easier to get reception, even in a crowded city. The hype is true, because I am even able to get reception inside my home.
