Summary: This was a very easy and satisfactory transaction. As with any new product, it is taking me a little time to get used to it. Wish it had a charger I could plug into the car's port instead of having to plug it into a wall socket, but I can probably buy a converter for that.
Summary: I bought this for my mother-in-law. It works great and she has not gotten lost since she started using it. The voice is easy to hear and understand and the directions are mostly accurate. Easy to use and read.
Summary: It has big screen and ease for use, but it's pricy to update maps and sometimes it "thinks" too long to recalculate the path. It seems to me also that this GPS lives with "one's own mind" - it could start to recalculate straight path on the way. It' really weird.
Summary: Stay away from this GPS (and Magellan products as a whole) for the following reasons: 1) The GUI is confusing; the screen where you type in the address of where you want to go is extremely hard to find. Amazingly, its not one of the actual buttons on the unit.
Summary: This has been a very frustrating product for us, and I am yet to be able to find "points of interest", ie restaurants, gas stations, etc. Information received with the unit was minimal and does not tell you how to get to the various screens that it tells you to go to.
Summary: We use this unit at work, and I take it around the country. When it works, it's right on. However, it takes some getting used to. The menus are not intuitive. The power on/off/powersave function is awkward. Sometimes system locks and you have to restart the system.
Summary: I have ZERO sense of direction so this has served it's purpose. It does have a bit of a delay when missing a turn and needed to recalculate. If your car is parked in a parking garage and then you pull out and want to use it right away...it has worked for me..
