Summary: I don't like that you can't just type in the address as you know it, and THEN search the area to make sure. You must type in the street name first (not the number part of the address), and only the available letters are highlighted. When driving more than 30 (or so) miles per hour, the little alert (sounds like a ding) comes after you've already missed your turn. Very frustrating.
Summary: One thing I really like about Magellan devices as opposed to other manufacturers is the destination entry; starting with the larger items like zip-code or state, then narrowing down to city and address. It's how I think. One thing I wish they'd do is have 'fastest route' selected by default, otherwise you're going to find yourself going in a 20 minute circle of highways to get to a destination 10 minutes away on more local roads.
Summary: The traffic feature is not helpful. It does not warn against live traffic accidents and stopped traffic. Rather, it advises for planned obstructions such as construction. When we received the unit, the plug was broken. AMAZON was great at providing a replacement immediately. They give great customer service. We like the magellan GPS features -- but this unit did not come with the most recent version of map software.
