Summary: The Magellan Maestro 5310 is the nicest GPS i have ever used. Units are easy to learn and operate, great accuracy with fast turn by turn instruction! Would recommend highly, they are excellent!
Did not work from day one. Doesn't really deserve a single star.

Summary: This unit was sold as "refurbished to factory specifications," but after giving it a full charge, it still never worked as the directions indicated it would. I'd like to send it back and see if the specialist see things any different. I paid just under $50.00 for it, saving only a few dollars on a "used" product. This is the first time I have ever bought a product under these circumstances, and it will probably be the last.
Summary: I was very disappointed with the GPS, bought it for a trip to Calif. and could not get it to hold a charge, after checking the battery realized it was bad, and have ordered a new battery hoping that it will turn on so I can try to see if the unit is any good. never will buy a remanufactured item again.
Summary: I found this navigator to be nearly flawless. I prefer a mobile unit rather than a dash mounted unit and this works perfectly for me. When traveling I carry it and plug it into my rental car. The 5" screen size is perfect. The signal is solid unless I am in a tunnel. The only negative issue is that the internal battery initially did not hold its charge for very long and now does not hold it at all which means it will not function unless it is attached to a 12V supply.
Summary: Large easy to read display. Good voice prompts. On the down side...once in a while it doesn't know how to get you to where you are going! Specifically, if you ignore back to back suggestions to correct what it perceives to be a failure to listen to its suggestions, it might get a bit wacky!
Summary: I had this GPS for a little over a year. It worked absolutely perfect and was used on literally a daily basis over that year. However, after the 1 year warrenty was up (as if on cue) it suddenly just "died!" It was not dropped, scratched, exposed to weather elements or anything!!! It just simply went blank and quit working.
