Good product - awful support

Bernard Kampf, Amazon
22 June 2011
  • Summary: Purchased this in 2009 and to return the unit to Magellan after several talks with their customer support. They initially sent back the original unit with an NTF. After serveral MORE calls they agreed that they had not tested it as to the specific problems and then agreed to send a new unit.

Magellan Maestro 4350

John Wood, Amazon

It takes a little time to learn all the functions since the manual is on CD (not convenient). We used it on our first trip of the year and it got us through Houston, TX fairly well.

Some of the main items that the 4250 had on the screen were elimiated on the 4350, such travel direction on screen(N,S,E,W), when in the navigation mode the screen does not tell you the current street you are on as the 4250...

Fair GPS

Extreme Photo, Amazon
12 December 2008
  • Summary: I have had this gps for 7 months now. It is fast and fairly accurate. When I miss a turn, it takes only 3 seconds to detect and reroute. It also shows landmarks and buildings on the map. These features are particularly useful when driving in a crowded city like Washington DC.
