A great compact package for the money

  • Summary: I bought this for my wife who does a lot of driving and admittedly has a difficult time reading written directions. As there seems to be a plethora of different GPS's out there as well as options up the wazoo, I looked at the ones Consumer Reports listed as the best. The number one was the Magellan Maestro 3200. I knew I'd find the best deal on eBay so I looked there first. I couldn't find any 3200s and figured it might be an older model.

  • Summary: Was a great buy for little cost. I used it for my last trip to Florida and without it I wouldnt find the places. The POI´s feature is great since it gives you the directions on how to get where you want to go in many different categories. And also I could call the place directly from the GPS since I connected it via bluethoot with my cell phone. Great Buy!!

  • Summary: I bought this GPS Receiver to replace a different brand GPS that had stopped working. I was trying to find something in the $100.00 price range. I found this unit for less than half of that price. I bought it not sure if I would like it. What a shock!!! I must say that I am greatly impressed with this product despite the minimal cost!!! I highly recommend this GPS!!! It would also make a GREAT inexpensive gift for Graduation, Wedding, Retirement,..

Small screen so not the easiest to read but works fine, good for the price

  • Summary: The Magellan Maestro 3250 is physically small in size so of course viewing maps is nicer on a larger unit. However I bought it on Ebay really cheap,(well under $100) so expectations need to be tempered in line with price. It works fine and is reasonably easy to program. There are way better units out there but for much more money. For the price verses the function this one is a very good value.

Magellan Maestro 3250 Automotive GPS Receiver

marivette21, Ebay
3 January 2011
  • Summary: Excellent product Magellan Maestro 3250 Automotive GPS Receiver As a personal use system, this item is excellent. Easy to use controls let you easily program addresses with touch screen, enhanced by suggestive spellings of cities & streets. Clear, concise directions spoken in an electronic female voice combined with a 2D/3D map map travel from address to address a snap. Lightweight, slim design, Bluetooth compatibility, and a 3-4 hour battery life make this a great buy.

The Maestro does the trip

nickgadget, Ebay
10 July 2010
  • Summary: I had been avoiding the GPS craze. I often bade fun of my girlfriend's Tom-Tom. Then one day to use up some bonus points on buy.com I bought a Magellan Maestro 3250. I used it for some small trips and found it most handy when a group of us got lost in Burlington Vt trying to find a street. After following someone go in circles I had my gf turn the Magellan on and enter the address and off we went.
