Summary: The description of the Magellan GPS was what we were looking for. So far, it has been accurate on the routes programmed into the unit. We also like just having it on and using the map setting around town as it displays points of interests that we never knew were around (lakes, golf courses etc). The only thing we are not too satisfied with, is that the suction cup holder does not always stay adhered to the window, it depends on the temperature of the window.
Summary: The product is working fine and very easy to use. I has problem in connecting the unit to PC using USB. Magellan support team asked me to send the unit to them for repair. Except USB issue, i have no other issues with the unit.
Summary: I purchased this Magellan Maestro 3210 GPS as my first GPS. I did not want one with all the bells and whistles (just more to go wrong on them anyway). My GPS has performed very well so far and is easy to set up, understand and use. I have only had good results from this GPS and the price paid was very affordable.
Summary: When my Garmin StreetPilot's hard drive failed, I panicked. I had become used to having a GPS device in my car. Since I had recently purchased a Garmin nüvi 650 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator for our other car, I couldn't justify getting one of the more full featured models. Because the Magellan Maestro's price was right and because it had the basic features I needed, I bought it.
Summary: I like this little thing. It has helped me get to a couple of places that were hard to find. However, I took me off the highway a couple of times only to put me back on the same highway just a few miles later. The map/software revision is almost two years old, so a new revision of the software and maps would probably fix that problem. It's still a nice piece of equipment and is leaving with me on vacation today.
Summary: I recently purchased this product for a family vacation to Flagstaff Arizona to see my brother. On the way out we took only Interstate Highways. The unit never missed a beat. We always found the right road and turns. There were plenty of points of interests along the way, too. After all, this unit sports 6 million POI's, that's right 6 MILLION! The unit's screen was plenty big and bright for daytime viewing. The automatic dimming for night driving worked well also.
Summary: I bought this device due to its price and the fact it was loaded with AAA tourbook information. It's nice to have hotel and restaurant listings and those provided in the AAA tourbooks have always been fairly reliable. I've assumed a similar level of reliability with the informaton on the 3210. What I like about the device: 1) The device has a lot of features for the price. I suspect the price will drop even further as more devices enter the market.
Summary: This is my 3rd GPS unit. So far, it is fast and as accurate as the more expensive units I have used in the past. The on screen commands are pretty intuitive. Considering this is the first unit I have bought for under $400 and I like it best of the group, I have to give it high marks. The only negative is the speaker is a bit week. If you have a lot of road noise, you do have to chose between the radio and the GPS unit if you are concerned with the audible commands.
