Summary: I used my Magellan 3210 maestro once, and when i went to use it a second time it would not work... it kept reading my car charger as a usb port. I phoned the tech support, but they said it only came with one year warranty... so basically said "suck it up princess - you're out $200.00 bucks"... buy something else.... this one sucks.
Summary: i meant to get "text-to-speach" for the road names to be announced... but that is not the products fault :) ...i decided to keep this anyway as i liked it upon using it... i went to register it and had nothing but trouble and its still not resolved..(my city is not listed and won't show properly in my profile as well as having an issue with my AAA account and the registration - my account with AAA is good and long standing) cs has not been helpful to me but has been more...
Summary: I purchaed the Magellan Maestro 3210 because of my experience with a previous Magellan unit - The RoadMate 1200. I loved my Roadmate 1200 because of it's excellent navigation but was disappointed in it's miniscule 750,000 item POI database. I saw the Maestro 3210 as the answer because of it's 6 Million Points of Interest. Unfortunately, the 3210 obviously does not use the same navigation logic as the Roadmate 1200.
Failed after 2+ months and unable to get it repaired

Summary: I have had mine for about 3 months now. It worked really well for a period of less three months, before it started acting up. One time when I happened to turn off my car ignition right at the moment the GPS is playing an audible message, something must have happened to it because ever since that, my GPS behaved strangely and it often locks up and won't respond to the touch screen.
Summary: I have the Roadmate 800 and bought the 3210 for my wife. The upside is the small, light size and the responsive touchscreen. The downside is the mapping software. It seems that Magellan went backwards instead of forward when they did the software. The unit routinely picks routes that are not logical or efficient. As opposed the the Roadmate series, the 3210 will not do a proper recalculation until you pass the next turn. It can take you miles out of your way.
Summary: It is great unit. Complaints - it tells you when to turn except when you reach your destination it quits talking and sounds a chime . Poor small instruction sheet( Full Instructions are on a cd-rom)Make sure you read Instructions throughly.Power bar is buried a few screens deep in unit.
