Summary: I was in the market to replace my old hunting gps. I like the Garmins but do not care much for the current touchscreen technology and wanted something more hunt specific. I was reluctant to purchase the 350H based on some of the negative reviews. However after purchasing and installing the free mapping software I am extremely satisfied. I had no problem installing maps via USB and the unit is compatible with Windows 7.
the website for Magellan sucks, vantage point sucks (the website there mapping works ...

Summary: Save your money. Buy a blindfold walk into the woods, spin in circles on occasion, after one hour of this remove blind fold and try to walk home, or buy this. The most complicated, smallest screened, uninformative, difficult to use GPS i have ever owned. It makes me miss my garmin that fell off my kayak :( Honestly I have had no luck with this product.
Summary: I had such high hopes. Device is perfect size, the screen is very acceptable, and I like the main feature sets. I have had this device for two days and it's going back and here's why. 1. there is currently no way to use Magellan Vantage Point software to create waypoints and then transfer them to the device.
Summary: I was considering this item but I learned my lesson from the last 3 Magellan products I owned. The last a Triton 1500. Much like windows XP, how long before Magellan stops the support for this. After 10 years of Magellan products and poor support I'm casting my lot with Garmin.
Summary: I like this unit better than my old Magellan hands down. This unit picks up satellites FAST and is very user friendly. Stand by power feature is great how it still tracks your position while saving battery life. Glad I purchased, Amazon was the best price and shipped to me in 3 days.
