Summary: I've been using my 600c after updating from an earlier model. I've seen other GPS units my friends have, but would never trade theirs for mine. I use mine in the car and on my motorcycle. Like no other GPS, it is visible in broad daylight on my bike.
Summary: I've had this unit for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. It's a little work-horse (actually the unit is pretty big). It always finds a satellite signal before I've finished backing out of the driveway. It doesn't seem to suffer from any software glitches (at least I haven't encountered any).
Summary: I have had several GPS systems. This is by far the best. It has a clear LARGE screen, it can be configured to show whatever features you want, like contours of the land, Fast Food restaurants, and/or marine items. So far I have only used it in my car, but I plan to use it on the boat this summer.
Summary: Although the size of the unit is large. The extra screen size allows for easy viewing. Point-to-point navigation is nice for family trips to answer the proverbial question ("When are we going to get there?). I bought the unit for the flexibility to transfer usage from the car to the boat.
Summary: The touch screen is very, very tempermental! Sometimes it works, sometimes you have to hit the screen multiple times. The mp3 player is horrible! Sometimes it plays through the radio ok, other time all you can hear is some scratching sounds. I will send it back to the factory for adjustment.
Summary: Waterproof, Heavy Duty, Jumbo BRIGHT Display, kinda quirky till you get to know it, but DOES EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF. It doesn't have a Radar Transmitter like it's Marine big brothers made by Lowrance, but it's not 11 Thousand dollars either, like they are.
Summary: Thank you for your business, recently I purcharsed 2 GPS by mistake, and returned one, I have to pay for almost 20% restock fee, and I have an exprience with you on behave of communication, by email, and telephone, can't get the support.
Summary: I puchased a 500c over a year ago. A couple of months ago I updated the software that I downloaded from their site. After the update The maps were messed up and I could not use it. I called customer support and explained all the steps I had taken to update the software.
Summary: We purchased this unit on July 16, 2007 for a motorcycle ride from Minneapolis, MN to Anchorage, AK and it worked great. Normally we would use the Alaska Milepost magazine to reference the route, but the iWay 600C performed so well, we never used the magazine.
