Summary: The GPS unit is so heavy that it droops on it's own mounting bracket and requires readjusting every morning. The unit also gets very hot under normal use. It is manufactured with a heat sink on the back to dissipate the heat but it is hot to touch so you need to turn the unit off before trying to handle it. One thing I did like about this unit was the buttons on the side instead of using the touch screen.
Summary: I hate this GPS. It got me lost in the boonies more than once, it takes forever to get satellite signal, maps are extremely hard to read while driving, having to use the stylus is really inconvenient. My suggestion is get a more user-friendly GPS that you can easily navigate at red-lights or short stops. I have a Mio c310 it was really cheap and easy to use...literally take it out of the box and get going. This thing is something else.
