  • Summary: Overall a good GPS. The only problem for me is the size of the screen. I prefer a larger screen size.

It got me where i needed to go... From MA to SC

Zack Attack, Amazon

  • Summary: I purchased the iway 250 about a week before i was taking a road trip to myrtle beach SC. I live in Massachusetts. I played with the iway for a few days before the trip. I am back home in Mass and survived to tell the tale. This is my review. This is my first GPS. The iway is a fun toy. The car kit worked well. Stuck to the winshield and held and was easily transfered between cars. It also has great battery life. The iway isn't overly large.

Not always accurate

N. Cunningham, Amazon
1 August 2007
  • Summary: The Iway is a good little gps system. The old line of, you get what you pay for applies here. The Iway does a good job of displaying routes, previewing turns and has quite good graphics. It does take a long time to figure out where it is upon initial start-up. It also is just dead wrong on occasion. The most annoying instances are when it tells you to "arrive at destination at .... feet on the right" and the actual destination is on the left or vice versa.

Worthless

  • Summary: Takes 15 min to never to lock onto a position. Map includes addresses that don't exist. Try to contact company for technical assistance? Forget it - impossible. Latest recording was "Sorry we can't help now due to inclement weather or we're in a meeting. Try later".

Good unit for the price

  • Summary: The Way 250c is a good reasonable priced unit. I'm sure you would get much more with a $600 Garman, but this is easy to use and accurate. My only complaint is the volume. If you are listening to the radio you sometimes may miss a voice prompt. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

Average GPS unit - overall I am satisfied

E. Isidro "hotdealsfreak", Amazon

  • Summary: I bought a lowrance 250c after a good deal online. So far its been a unit that has worked for me. One has to understand that this does not use the latest technology in terms of acquiring a signal so everytime you power down then power up, it may take as long as 2-3 minutes before the satellites find your location. Once it is acquired, the signal has so far kept on point (as long as you don't power off again).

Nice interface but some things lacking

Mark K, Amazon
14 November 2006
  • Summary: Purchased this and was very impressed by the touch screen and the ease of use. However, after using it for a couple of days, I'll tell you the things that I found lacking: 1. It knows when you stop the car and will power off automatically. However, it won't power on automatically. You have to unplug, turn on the power, then plug back in. Not so fun after repeating the process several times. 2.
