Summary: I got this on sale and I think Lowrance has made a substantial effort to support this product. Its easy to use. The only issue I had was downloading the maps from Lowrance's website, MapSelect. You outline the area you want to download and can either do satellite or topo.
Summary: I bought the Lowrance Endura Sierra GPS because I have had great experiences with their boating GPS units. This device is an epic failure on all counts. I purchased the device on 11/01/2013. I took it out on a hike two weeks later. I was hiking the coast of Oregon.

Summary: I have tried two "new" units of the Lowarnce Endura Safari. I put "new" in quotes because both of the units I got appeared to have been repackaged and the packaging was different in both and one of them hS an "extra" item in Tools (something like Navionics, but it didn't seem to work).

Summary: Purchased this piece of junk as a backup to my marine gps. I expected the base map to be bad but this was the worst ive ever seen. I even purchased extra maps from Lowrance that would'nt display on the unit even with Lowrances Tech support. Dont waste your time. Buy a Garmin
