Get map updates and I'd sure use the hell out of it,
10 August 2011
Summary: It's ok...except for the fact that it needs updated maps...no luck on getting any. I live in the DC area and if I want to get directions from a city in Virginia to Reagan National Airport it freaks out because it doesn't really understand where to take me so I just gave up using it.
Summary: This thing works off a satelite? How come it can't get the time right? If you don't mind getting detoured off a main road then back onto the same road after going out of your way; I reckon its alright, lol. It also freezes up now and again out of the blue; why? ain't no tellin'.
Summary: This GPS was made in 2007 but does not allow many street numbers present for many years. It misidentifies roads and sometimes routes you incorrectly. It tells you to take nonexistent exits and turns. It has frequent software errors that require restarts only possible by cutting all power.
Summary: I own this GPS. It does tell you what street you are turning onto, if you read the instructions and set it right. It is a bit bulky but for my non-tech savvy wife it is great. Youcan do almost everything withour the stylus expect type in the address.
Summary: Thumbs down all the way. I bought this and had to return it within a week. I have used many GPSs Different brands and models and this is the worst. It was constantly hanging, and I had to reset it everytime. RESET - not just power off-power on. Lost signals regularly.
