Summary: It may be small for a gps receiver but it's the best I've seen. It connects to my laptop using bluetooth with ease (two of my older units will not connect at all). This is sensitive enough it even picks up in my living room. If you really have problems with bluetooth or don't have bluetooth in your computer this will also connect using usb.
Summary: great price for the unit . It is small and compact. I was disappointed when I found out that my new Blackberry did not have built in GPS. The Holux fills the void. I downloaded a golf course GPS application and it worked nicely.
Summary: i bought the holux m1200 gps receiver for my iphone as an external gps receiver. its working greak with a special cable made for the iphone. the price was low (40% less than every other store in my country). the gps is very accurate and a fully charged battery is enough for more than 20 hours. thanks.
Summary: I bought this Bluetooth receiver to use with my Nokia E51. Holux M1000 is surprisingly easy to setup, turn it on and connect to it thru the bluetooth manager.Good connection with satelits, long time for battery working, big accuracy. It works exactly as descriped.
Summary: I bought the M1200 one week ago and was immediately impressed with quality of product. GPS sync sweet with my Nokia 6120 Classic, no difference between outside or inside of car, home or running in the park. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
Summary: On receipt, I charged the unit, turned it on and within a couple of minutes had a moving map on my Black Berry. (Since Black Berry didn't have a GPS in it.) Then I connected it up to my pentop, installed some Aviation Software and within minutes had full moving map with outstanding accuracy. (Yes it is as close as the GNS430/530 WAAS systems just not certified in any way!
Summary: The M1200 sounded very promising on paper (web). It is a good device and works well, but there are some buts: 1. Initial acquisition of satellites is not always good. Sometimes requires movement. 2. Using it for 2 weeks, it required 2 resets during operation. Either bluetooth or GPS signal lost, I don't know. But simple reset fixed the issue. 3. It requires a special USB data cable (as opposed to standard USB charging cable).
Summary: This is one awesome GPS receiver. It is quick, small, durable, and accurate. I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. It fits in your hand and has great battery life. Its worked great with a couple different mapping software packages that I use. You cannot go wrong with this item. If your laptop is not bluetooth enabled, buy a USB Bluetooth adapter for under $20 bucks and you are good to go.
