Summary: I have used other expensive GPS systems before and heard alot of talk about all of them so I was really confused when I went to purchase my own. I chose the Harman Kardon guide + play 500. Could not go wrong I am very satisfied. All maps so far seem to accurate and give clear voice commands.
Summary: this unit is a very good unit. it does not have any flaws as of now. the upload from Sat. is very fast and accurate. the picture quality is superb, sound quality w/built in speaker is fantastic.
Summary: The setup is easy. You don't have to do anything. In lock position it follows you everywhere. Nice and bright touch screeen. you can even scroll the map by sliding your finger over it. I highly recomend it.
Summary: Having owned a Garmin Nuvi 350, and a TomTom One,(Both which i eventually gave to my wife and mother), i decided to pick up a harman GPS 500, and be different than all my friends. I figure, with a nice WideScreen Display, Video, Music connectivity with Napster/Urge/Yahoo!
Summary: Exceeded my expectations! Very easy to use. Recalibrates within seconds if you ignore directions, you can't go wrong if you try (and I did!). "Saved places" feature is extremely handy. Music and video very impressive. Great to have SD card function. Very pleased.
Summary: What a wonderful product! The graphics are great, the navigation is right on, the UPS is highly accurate. I had it up and running in my BMW in about 5 minutes. It looks great in the car too! It even plays videos if you use a SD card.
Summary: This is the one device I absolutely cannot live without on my trips and travels. I've bought the latest and greatest GPS units over the past 2 years, ranging from the TomTom Go to the widescreen Garmin Nuvi.
Summary: I originally bought a TomTom 510, but I was disappointed in how bulky it was. It wasn't small enough to fit in my pocket and was a pain to carry around. I saw the harman/kardon GPS-500 and decided to return the TomTom and give it a try. Boy am I glad I did.
Summary: I just got this Harman kardon GPS device and thought I'd write up some of my experiences. I bought it for my dad, and it was a bit of a gamble (I was hoping this one would be easy for him to use), but I've been using it myself for the past couple of days.
