Summary: Got my Golf Buddy Tour GPS and took it to the golf course. Couldn't make it work. Would not pick up satellites. Contacted the seller and explained the problem. They said send it back and they promptly sent me another new one. It works fine. Well pleased with the purchase.
Summary: I have the GolfShot application installed on my Android phone. I've tried a few times to use it and found it so clumsy that it affected the speed of my play, so in the interest of not holding up my friends I stopped messing with it. I often play with a guy who has the same application on his iPhone - he seems to have an easier time with it (I've heard there are some differences in the application depending on the phone OS), but every time he wants to see his yardage or...
Summary: I bought this Golf Buddy because I had one mysteriously dissappear from my golf cart while I was in the grill having a sandwich after golf and I had it fastened to a shelf on my golf cart. I very much liked the one that was taken and I decided to buy another. I especially like the feature that allows you to have 20,000 courses from all over the world without a yearly fee.
Summary: I think this is the best deal on the market. I have had the Sky Caddie SG5, and an earlier version of Golf Buddy. No annual fees, no loading courses continually, easy to operate, large numbers, and a good price. Highly recommend it.
Summary: We have used it quite a few times. It appears accurate. We appreciate it lets you set different hazards and keeps your score. It is simple to use and easy to understand. A basic model that does a lot. Very pleased.
Summary: I was looking for something that was easy to use with no annual fee. It is preloaded with all the golf courses that I play at home or while staying in South Carolina and Florida. Wish I could say it helped make my game get better but now I know I can't hit as far as I thougth I could. Really this is a great GPS for the price and I have and will recommend it to all my golfing friends.
