Summary: I purchased a GolfBuddy Tour trying too get away from the yearly cost of paying a membership. It was nice it had all of the golf courses I needed already downloaded on it. But I was not happy with the yardages it said. (One par 3 on my course it was over 100 yards off) I would stand on markers in the fairway and the GPS would be anywhere from 2 to 17 yds off, also played with others that had differnt GPS and theirs would all say one thing and mine was way different in...
Summary: I Purchased the Golf Buddy Pro in 2009 It works great but the design is poor. The toggle switch cap has torn away from the O ring and is about to fall off. This is poor manufaturing a defective cap. Customer service told me it is old and these problems happen. I must send it back and pay for this defect. Very dissatisfied. There is only a 90 day warrenty.
Summary: First let me say that the Golf Buddy Tour works as advertised. It always knows what course I'm playing and where I am on the course. The distances are accurate. The functions such as measuring driving distance works great. I am having one problem with the unit. I belong to two Country Clubs. One club is in Florida and one club is located near Washington, DC. Last year both courses underwent major renovations nd both re opened for play this past April.
Summary: Used the Golf Buddy several times on my favorite courses and not happy with the accuracy. It would pickup the wrong holes at times. Battery seems to last for advertised time, seems easy to use. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 5.
