Summary: Battery life is good, but longer would have been better for some applications. The receiver is sensitive enough that this unit works fine while inside my sailboat, so no need to take it outside at all.
Summary: This unit arrived via Parcel Post on a Sunday afternoon.... and after charging it in my car, I paired it with my old Lenovo ThinkPad tablet and it was off to the races. The ThinkPad is running CyanogenMod Android 4.1.1 so there was no need for any helper app like GPS Info..

Summary: I'm a 757/767 pilot for one of the US majors, using this GPS receiver with a MS Surface 2 tablet running Jeppesen Flight Deck Pro. The unit acquires a fix rapidly and displays the aircraft position on the Jepp enroute view as well as on the airport diagram.
Summary: I will say it as accurate and quick as one would come to expect. However it lacks a lot of key features that have me debating a return. 1. No mini usb port/charging. It uses an old round DC Jack and you have to purchase a wall charger separately.

Summary: Set up on my tablet using Bluetooth GPS app and rout66 mapping app (seems to work better for me than Google maps or I don't understand Google well enough) No ac charger but DC is fine since I use it in the car anyway and battery last longer than any trip I take
