Summary: The one sent to me was not a 450. It was a 550. Okay, I can live with that, but I had nothing but problems with it. First, it didn't have US maps on it, so I had to spend $50 to download maps. Then I had to Buy a $60 motorcycle bracket for it. Then the power button came off; It followed my finger out when I pressed it. And it would not stay in. Then after about two weeks of this it just stopped working. I sent it back.
Summary: The gps works as advertised. As all gps, review the roads before you leave on trip, the unit can not always keep up with your need to know. The voice is not loud enough for my 09 Kawasaki Nomad, requires a better headset or receiver than my chatter box. Be sure you buy from the original owner. Garmin does not update without the original owner deleting their registration and you can the register and get updates.
Summary: I've used this product for a couple of years. Garmin definitely makes the easiest to use motorcyle GPS. This unit does everything I need including playing MP3 music. So easy to use that I almost never use the built in satellite radio. The GPS is very user friendly, can't imagine going without. You can go for a ride anywhere and never have to worry about getting home.
Summary: I purchased this product with the understanding that it was refurbished, but was as good as new. Well , the maps on it were out of date, never brought up to date when refurbished, so I then had to purchase updated maps which cost over $100.00 . So I you add cost of 450 Garmin plus cost of maps, I could have purchased NEW 550 Garmin same price.
