Excellent unit just missing the built-in MP3 (used to come with one)

Summary: My only complaint is they did not show in the sales text that they no longer had the built in MP3 player. With out it the audio from maps will not over ride the radio / CD player or other MP3 system. I was replacing my old unit now no music that is in Sync with my Harley-Davidson system. For just GPS and mounting system excellent. Rob W.
Summary: This product is a good product .Description did not tell what is included so a mount and cord were ordered extra with expensive shipping.Several different mounts were included and a GPS cord also.
Great motorcycle GPS - much better screen than the 665LM
4 April 2013
Summary: I will post more after this weekend when I've have done a 100mi through the Santa Cruz mountains on my motorcycle. Consider this a pre-review, however I wanted to comment that my biggest complaints about the Zumo 665LM are fixed on the 350LM. Even though the spec sheet states that both 350LM and 665LM have the exact same screen, for whatever reason, the 350LM screen is MUCH brighter at 100% than the 665LM screen is at 100%... its night and day.
Summary: Having used my StreetPilot 2720 for 7 years I was very used to the functions and everything was second nature to me. So there is a learning curve. But in general, Garmin has made some major improvements. I would have given it a 5 star rating; but, the package was missing the USB cable, not a seriou problem as I am able to use my StreetPilot USB cable. I was able to install the unit on my Gold Wing without any issues.
Good unit. A couple of slight tweaks, and it could be a Great unit

Summary: When I look for a GPS (and I've owned MANY), I have a few basic criteria to meet. This is how the Zumo 350LM stacks up: 1- Is satellite acquisition fast and sensitive? -The 350LM is probably the best I've ever had here. It picked up more sats, in less time, and in places (in my basement) others couldn't conceive of doing on their best day. 2- Does it have a clear, intuitive display? -I *do* realize how difficult it is satisfy *all* preferences in *all* areas for this.
Summary: Garmin zumo 350LM 4.3-Inch Motorcycle GPS GENERAL: I purchased the Zumo 350LM to use on my ATV. It appears to be very sturdy and weather proof. I am still learning about the 350LM, but thus far it has exceeded my expectations. It's a bit pricey but at that price everything you need for connecting and mounting the unit is included. It can be operated with your gloves on.
Summary: I resisted buying a Zumo for over a year because of the price, but finally gave in because not only was the price not falling, the 220 model I was looking at was evidently being replaced by the 350 at a higher price and without any additional features that I could see, except for the 350's larger screen. Bought the 220 for $400 from TheGPSStore and lifetime maps for another $30 (a great price, and free shipping).
Summary: This Garmin gps is as advertised. It is rugged, easy to see in any lighting conditions, and I am able to use with my gloves on. I went through some pretty bad rain storms and no problems. The things that I do not like is the basecamp software that you use on the computer to make routes. It is like going back to the DOS operating system. Very un-friendly. The other thing I didn't like was the price.
Summary: Garmin Express software now makes updating the Zumo effortless. Once product is registered you can plug it into a computer, the software self launches and seeks updates for the unit. I was having problems with my Zumo freezing up until a firmware update 2 weeks ago. It works like new now. The included Ram mount for my GPS looks like it was used and repackaged (blemished finish). I will have to switch it out for a NEW one. Other than that the Zumo works and looks great.
