i would buy this again - versatile and as promised

Summary: product performs to expectations; display does get hard to read in sunlight and sometimes have difficulty activating functions w cycle gloves on; one thing that concerns me, based on a previous reviewer's experience is that the motorcycle mount plate only has a simple, non-lockable lever to secure the unit which seems very susceptible to coming undone with the brush of a gloved hand so I keep a zip tie slid over the mounting plate to keep unit secured even if that little...
Summary: I needed something to replace my old Garmin unit that I had dropped one too many times. The screen is large/bright enough to read while riding my motorcycle and I can easily operate it while wearing gloves. It comes with a RAM tower mount that is really too big for my sportbike so I bought a less obtrusive Garmin mount that can be used on either a motorcycle or bicycle. I also bought a mount for my scooter.
Summary: One of these days I will get around to hard-writing this GPS's power supply into my Harley, but for right now, I'm finding that battery power alone is enough to get me through a typical day. I bought a friction mount as well, and also use it in the car. The only other thing I did was buy a screen-protector to protect it when it's in the saddlebag and not being used.
Summary: Easy to set up and more esthetically pleasing when mounted than I expected. Very pleased with the ease of setup and the direct wiring harness provided. Controls are very 'Garmin' and if you have ever used a Garmin you should have no trouble adjusting. I like it, very much.
Pros: Compact, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Long Battery Life, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls, Strong Construction, Versatile
