Summary: Just got it and set up was a breeze. Then after using it, I downloaded the information to my computer and found way more information than I could ever use. If you like lots of stats then you will love this. Very comfortable too.
Great watch! Software is not impressive unless I missed something...

Summary: Second swim watch that I've had. The first (different mfg) was smaller and more difficult to read with foggy goggles. They both kept fairly good track of laps. Both missed one every now and then. No way of knowing if it was plus or minus. I was finally able to get the software installed but it takes a couple of tries, each time, to get the program to talk to the watch. Have yet to find where the data is going? I wear the watch for everyday.
Summary: It doesn't really record the distance you swim but just calculate the distance according the pool length you entered. Though it's smart enough to add the length when you touch the wall of the pool. I don't feel the result is accurate so far, maybe because I am still learning how to use it, but it's already a big help for me to finish 500m without pushing the buttom for each lap. This elegant watch is also big enough for reading the numbers in water and dark. I like it.
Summary: My husband really likes this watch. The full manual must be downloaded from their website. A few glitches getting it set up and downloaded to the garmin connect (where you see your stats) but overall, good.
Summary: This watch was a great purchase. It works as advertised, but I did have trouble with it losing a pool length on some of my swim sessions. I have since upgraded to the 910xt and don't have these problems anymore. I don't know if they share the same "swim" firmware or not, but my 910xt doesn't have this particular issue for me. I have read that this may be because I didn't pay enough attention to my acceleration from pushing off the side of the pool.
Summary: Overall I'm very happy with this watch. After reading the negative reviews, I almost didn't buy it, but I understand its main competitor watch doesn't keep track of the time for individual lengths or laps, which is a deal breaker for me. So I went with this watch, and I'm very glad I did. I've had five 1500-yard swims now, and it's been 100% accurate on counting lengths. I'm 6'-2", 200 lbs, early '50s, and swim in a 25-yard pool (L.A. Fitness).
Summary: I've been using this watch for about three months. It is very accurate. As long as you do a solid push off the wall (and glide) it picks up every length perfectly. I find the custom screens helpful. I designed one that shows lengths. I swim 60 laps at a time and would be lost without this means of tracking my distance. I'd like to see an option to track laps in addition to lengths. Since I only swim freestyle, I can't comment on its ability to track other strokes.
