If you upgrade to the , you get the text to speech capability so it tells you the name of the street to turn onto, as well as the option to add on the Traffic capability. This GPS is incredibly simple, and basic. Yet for you money it is an excellent option. You get the holder and the car plug in. With updated info, this device works almost exactly the same as higher end gps. Only one voice option, comes with an auto dimmer, and can track your speed. You can't play music and your indicator is perpetually an arrow. Read more

Very easy used, just turn it on, enter address and go. Ghost C330 drive me on road by high exactly, awry is about ~ 30ft only. It is easy update to new software anytime: download & install 1 mini software at Garmin site,then connect C330 to computer, click update software. Finish. I have owned my Garmin Streetpilot C330 for some time now and used it to travel the length and breadth of the UK in towns, on motorways and on country roads. It is a fairly bulky unit which sticks nicely to the windscreen with the supplied bracket allowing the angle to be adjusted in order for the driver to see the screen clearly. Read more

I purchased the "Reconditioned" version of the c330 so my comments are based on the unit I received. However, this unit is twice the $150 price I paid. Unit I received is as good as new. This listing specifies the v7 map which is 3 years old and although the item I purchsased didn't specify, I received the v8 map which is two years old. This unit ships with the v8 map which is the 2007 Release. The 2009 version is now available so the pre-loaded map is two years old. Read more

This was a great buy for the money 2yrs ago and is still going strong. I am still discovering new things about it. Only problem it keeps falling off the dashboard but I called Garmin and they sent me a new disc and stand. Still haven't upgraded to new maps as doing well with what it has. Read more

My Daughter bought one of these things for me nearly 3 years ago. I have looked all over for maps for this thing, as it is about 5 years out of date, and it was when I got the thing. If you pay for a life map update, about the same as the unit cost, you can get maps that show roads around you. I went to an address 4 times before the C330 could find itself, so it is not a smart unit. There is an update for the software, so I downloaded that this weekend, so now it might beable to find itself, and not get lost. That is what I have found for my not so smart
