Good big GPS

Jamsify, Amazon
5 January 2011
  • Summary: We originally bought this GPS because my husband was planning on going over the road in his trucking career. Change of plans, he decided not to go OTR so we kept this for our car. It's a great GPS, it's very big though. And, like any GPS..

Tom Mac, Amazon
24 May 2010
  • Summary: Firstly, please make sure that you realize that this unit is 7 years old and thusly does not have the functionality that you would think it would have. I purchased this by mistake thinking it was a newer model.

BEST GPS

Bob Koniption, Amazon
28 February 2010
  • Summary: I bought this unit for our motorhome. Most of the reviews have listed all the features so I will not repeat them, but my two favorites are large screen and the voice naming the streets. This is one great unit. Not for small cars due to huge screen size.

Not so good

Long Fellow "old one", Amazon
17 January 2010
  • Summary: I bought this unit as a replacement for a nuvi 350 which was an excellent piece of hardware.I wanted the video input feature so I could use it for my screen for my reverse video camera.I am currently on my third unit as the 2 previous ones failed (could not acquire satellites) at inconvenient times...

I never get lost!

A. Edgar, Amazon
9 January 2010
  • Summary: The Street Pilot 7200 is all as advertised. The large screen is easy to see and makes reading the street or highway names very easy. It has proven to be very easy to use and is very accurate. Down loading shape files and other survey data is very easy using the memory card.

State of the art; top of the line

Dennis R. Trachta, Amazon
16 November 2009
  • Summary: I've owned the Garmin 2730 for about three years and I loved it. I happened to notice this one with the larger screen, plus additional features, and it worked with the XM antenna I already had. The suction cup and bean bag mounts were inter-changeable as well.

Turn off brain Turn on GPS

A. Black, Amazon
4 October 2009
  • Summary: I looked at many gps systems and found Garmin to probably be the best. I wanted a large screen because I didn't want to have to squint or try and make out where I am going at freeway speeds on a four inch screen. This one is seven inches and that is easy to see.

Great device, but not exactly perfect

MW, Amazon
15 September 2009
  • Summary: I have owned this GPS for a few weeks now and for a while debated on whether to keep it or return it. In the end, I have decided that the features I like about it outweigh the negatives, so I will stick with my purchase. Here are the main features I like about it: 1.

GPS With A View

Airbus30B, Amazon
22 August 2009
  • Summary: This is an excellent Garmin GPS! At last a screen size that is easy to see and read. It might not be for everyone, because of it's large size and weight. I use a suction cup mount[...], very heavy duty, and it holds the 7200 up with ease.

Nice but could be better

W. Chef "WC", Amazon
8 May 2009
  • Summary: I have had this unit for a while. The screen is awesome. I attach it to my vent to keep it near eye-level in my Acura TSX, and it works very well to get me where I'm going. BUT -- it lacks a lot in the usability department.
