Summary: We originally bought this GPS because my husband was planning on going over the road in his trucking career. Change of plans, he decided not to go OTR so we kept this for our car. It's a great GPS, it's very big though. And, like any GPS.. it gives you some goofy directions when you could have went a different way and wasted less time. Overall I would recommend this product.
Do not buy ... before you read this. this is old unit.

Summary: Firstly, please make sure that you realize that this unit is 7 years old and thusly does not have the functionality that you would think it would have. I purchased this by mistake thinking it was a newer model. Upon receiving the item I was immediately disappointed for 2 reasons: 1) I realized that the XM radio feature only worked if you purchased a $200 ( additional ) antenna.
Summary: I bought this unit for our motorhome. Most of the reviews have listed all the features so I will not repeat them, but my two favorites are large screen and the voice naming the streets. This is one great unit. Not for small cars due to huge screen size. I don't think any units made have a larger screen. If you need "big" then this is the unit for you. Because the voice names the streets you can keep your eyes on the road almost all of the time. You won't be disappointed.
Summary: I bought this unit as a replacement for a nuvi 350 which was an excellent piece of hardware.I wanted the video input feature so I could use it for my screen for my reverse video camera.I am currently on my third unit as the 2 previous ones failed (could not acquire satellites) at inconvenient times in the middle of long trips leaving me to go to AAA for for folding maps to get home with. The unit works well when it works but it seems to have very iffy engineering as far...
Summary: The Street Pilot 7200 is all as advertised. The large screen is easy to see and makes reading the street or highway names very easy. It has proven to be very easy to use and is very accurate. Down loading shape files and other survey data is very easy using the memory card. I have no complaints after my first month of use. I count on it every day for my work and has proven to be a valuble tool.
Summary: I've owned the Garmin 2730 for about three years and I loved it. I happened to notice this one with the larger screen, plus additional features, and it worked with the XM antenna I already had. The suction cup and bean bag mounts were inter-changeable as well. I drive a charter bus, and this is absolutely the best investment I have ever made. I don't have to squint to read the information like I did with the other unit, which I now use in my car which already has XM.
Summary: I looked at many gps systems and found Garmin to probably be the best. I wanted a large screen because I didn't want to have to squint or try and make out where I am going at freeway speeds on a four inch screen. This one is seven inches and that is easy to see. I can push enter my settings or searches or I can use a remote. I can sit back and use the remote to go where I want. Ease of use is there... for locations I can set it to home and push hoome and it goes there.
Summary: I have owned this GPS for a few weeks now and for a while debated on whether to keep it or return it. In the end, I have decided that the features I like about it outweigh the negatives, so I will stick with my purchase. Here are the main features I like about it: 1. It has a large 7-inch screen, which is bright and sharp. This screen size is very difficult to find on any model of any brand and for me was the biggest selling feature. 2.
Summary: This is an excellent Garmin GPS! At last a screen size that is easy to see and read. It might not be for everyone, because of it's large size and weight. I use a suction cup mount[...], very heavy duty, and it holds the 7200 up with ease. I highly recommend buying the suction cup mount so you don't have to "stick the GPS to your dash". I love the mp3 player built in, it holds about 150 mp3s.
Summary: I have had this unit for a while. The screen is awesome. I attach it to my vent to keep it near eye-level in my Acura TSX, and it works very well to get me where I'm going. BUT -- it lacks a lot in the usability department. If you want to insert a point in the middle of another route, it takes like 7 or 8 clicks. Then once you do it, you have to hit the Back button about 6 times to back out of every last little choice you made. Literally every last choice.
