Summary: This is probably one of the best Gps units Garman has ever produced.I bought mine over 5 years.I am a truck driver and use it all the time. The weighted anti skid base mount recently had to be replaced, but with the 1000s of miles I have driven with it resting on the dashboard,I cant complain.
Summary: I couldn't believe how fast and effecient this company was in getting my Garmin Street Pilot 2720 to me. I ordered it last Tuesday close to 11:00 p.m. By Wednesday morning my package was being checked in with UPS. My Garmin which is supposed to be an overhauled product arrived at my home on Friday brand-spanking-new with all the accessories! This could not be an overhaul product. It's too new.
Summary: I purchased a new Garmin StreetPilot 2720 Portable GPS Navigator in Jan 2009. Even though this is a discontinued model the Garmin Web site made it easy to register, and then download the latest software/driver updates. The Garmin is well constructed and durable. The cables heavy duty with sturdy connectors. The LCD screen is easy to read in most lighting conditions; and the auto day/night mode works perfectly.
Summary: I bought this for my conversion van and have been totally impressed with its accuracy. I also bought the traffic alert accessory which has helped guide me around wrecks and bumper to bumper traffic.
Summary: I love this GPS I bought it for my Victory Vision Motorcycle. My girlfriend and I use it when ever we need to go some place new. It works great on the bike or in the cars. Turn by turn voice commands guide us right to the location we seek.If you miss a turn the unit will redirect you to the location you seek. The screen is very clear giving the map location street names and compass direction your traveling. The touch screen programing is very easy to use and if you are...
Summary: I bought this model as a refurb for $300 a few years ago. I still have it. I have also, in that time, had a Magellan 700 (which died), a Tom Tom One 3rd. Ed., a Magellan 2200T, and a recently purchased Garmin 680. They all work and each has its positive points. The 2200T has the best suction cup mount by far, the TomTom lets you add map corrections, and the 680 has mp3 and bluetooth. However, if you just want the best, easiest to use gps, the old Garmin 2270 is it.
Summary: This GPS is easy to use, lots of options, and I am glad I have purchased it. I am never lost. The only issues I dislike is, the time it takes to start up, no battery and sometimes the GPS unit has a bad connection with the satellites.
Summary: This is the second Garmin 2720 I have bought. One for the car and this one for the motorcycle . Has the GPS functions I want without all the stuff one very seldem uses or wants. Had a problem withn the screen on this one but Garmin replaced the complete unit in 48 hrs. GREAT C/S with Garmin. One of the few companies that have C/S.................
