Summary: The rino 120 is a great tool for all outdoor activity. I wasn't sure how I would like the toggle control at first but soon realized that it was actually much easier and easy to navigate through the features with one hand. This was a decision that I was glad I made. The peer to peer positioning makes it safe for us to elk hunt seperately knowing where each other is located.
Summary: Not 2 offen I bid on things that are in working order. This is a used unit. This Garmin 120 was in mint shape & works perfectly. One of the best Garmins out their. This is my second Garmin. When you have the money to burn you alway have two, right. It was a little hard at first to understand the programing, but once you master it you are on your way.
Summary: I love this gps. i program to use with other users so we can keep track of everyone out in the timber without worry of being lost. i little tricky to learn how to operate . For the money ( I purchaced used) this is a good product for any hunter or hiker .
excellent unit!! great price!! know it will last as long as my E-Trex!!!

Summary: This is one of the best Garmins I have owned yet!!! My best friend has the 650 Rino, but for hundreds less I got this one and it does everything his does but with out color. I bought an extra one so when we all go hunting we can check on each other and see where each other are at. Works great for getting over to help load and deer up!!
Summary: this is a good product that is fairly easy to use. i have been out in the field and was pleased with how close it put me to what i was looking for. i am looking forward to trying out the radio function with others that have this system.
Summary: I have hunting buddies and friends/ family that had this gps unit. I fell in love with it when I borrowed one for archery season. Now that I have my own to play around with I like it even more. Great being able to see everyone your with and where they are. Adds safety when rifle hunting because you know where people are and not to take a shot in thier direction.
Summary: Used the unit for hunting. After a long hike in the backwoods, you don't want to lose your trophy buck or elk. Mark the spot and make as many trips as needed and find the spot each time. Great way to locate your friends so you don't cross each others trails also. The newer ones have more features but they aren't really needed for outdoor use. You still have to know how to use a map.
When used correctly and you READ the instructions, they are great.

Summary: Have been using the Garmin Rino 120 for a few years now. Had to replace one due to loss. These units do everything you want them to as described. FRS is never great when in the woods, but when unobstructed, it reaches out. GPS functions very well, and the inter-operability of these units is great. The display is b/w, but you can spend way more for color screen. I don't need it. Highly recommend you get one of these.
Summary: the display in topo mode leaves a lot to be desired, but when compared to price of newer more exspensive units, this is a real value. My hunting partners and I have been using these for years now and I don't know how we did it with out them now.
