Pros: hardware is high spec but poor quality components 2 USB Inputs and ability to read direct from a USB powered USB device (ie Passport) Bluetooth when working is extremely clear thanks to the external bluetooth microphone
Cons: Don't honour any warranty/offer no support. Fault rate for me was 30% of 30 systems purchased, this is costly and a headache. Linda and Wendy are too busy for service and will reply to a problem after 1 month,if at all. Interface is common on eBay.
Summary: The finest GPS ever made. Every feature and function known to man. Not for everyone, but if you can afford it and are like me (a touch of OCD)and must have the biggest, baddest and the best there are no options (period).
Summary: Unit defective . packaged haphazaredly. Duplication of some materials and missing on some other materials .Poor product support documentation. Service department reccommended I go to the manufacturer to have unit repaired.
Summary: I have a Tom Tom Go 700 and a Go 900 too. I decided to buy a new Nuvi 880 on E-bay because Tom Tom wants too much for Map upgrades. I simply chose to put my money towards a newer and more modern and more compact unit. I am very disappointed with the Garmin Nuvi 880 because I can't hear the voice instructions at 100% volume. The Lady speaking sounds like she has a mouth full of Peanut Butter or something else in her mouth, maybe ****. I have never used Blue Tooth.
