Great product. Best garmin I have had for auto navigation.

Summary: Very easy to use. Voice recognition works great at lower speeds. MP3 player and routing commands play thru radio so that you never miss a turn. Navigation with current maps picks routes that I would select myself. Battery life is a little short, but it stays connected in my car so no issue with it. Does a good job of displaying topographic maps.
"Just how useful is a GPS unit that doesn't work?"

Pros: If I can't use it, how can I find any?
Cons: It freezes. Endless resetting (swap battery in-out, fun stuff). ON-OFF switch fails almost immediately. Display goes 'black' despite settings. Have warned friends who say "Is it a Garmin? Ah, well then". Never buy another Garmin.
Summary: The Garmin I purchased was advertised as being in good working order. I purchased it because it had voice commands, but that does not work. The battery does not hold a charge very long, and at time it did not know where I was. It kept giving me directions to make a right turn at every intersection to get back to the road I was traveling on because it thought I was on the next road north of wher I was.
The GPS is not what I expected but somthing one would sell to update.

Summary: The GPS is no stranger to me since I do a lot of driving and have had a gps of many years. This GPS has a battery that should not be almost dead if the GPS as described was only used a FEW times. The music in the device is NOT what I would download. The GPS does not perform without mistakes. The bag container to hold all parts is not what Garmin sells.
Summary: Having heard great reviews about garmin nuvi range of GPSs, I bought this to replace my tomtom. Within the first 2 weeks, it 'hung' on me at least thrice. I had to remove and replug in the wires before it would even restart. Would not recommend...
Summary: This GPS was horrible. Guided us to many wrong locations when the GPS said we had arrived at our destination. Very confusing and unclear directions in larger cities with regards to what lane you should be in when about to make turns. Battery cord broke and we had to stuff paper/object between wire and GPS so that the charge would go through. Overall there's really nothing positive or special about this GPS and you are better off buying a different model.
Summary: This was a very good GPS unit, when it was working right. It had a lot of features that I liked (I won't list them, since the product description already does). If not for the problems I list below, I would have rated it 5 stars. Problem 1: It would occasionally freeze up while in use. This started happening a few months after I bought it. If I was using it's integrated music player when this happened, I would know right away because it would go silent.
Summary: Bought this mainly for voice recognition. It was not good. The android google voice recognition beats any standalone GPS as it harnesses Google's cluster of highly distributed machines. I still have Garmon Nuvi 350 which works after 6 years. The newer Garmin with voice recognition are better, but unless you need a standalone GPS, the phone GPS does the job best.
