The Garmin nüvi 770 incorporates Garmin "Where Am I?/ Where’s my car?" emergency locator. At any time, this locater let drivers know their exact latitude and longitude coordinates, by a single tapping of screen. It is equipped with TMC Traffic Module which helps to avoid traffic congestion and road blocks. The Garmin nüvi 770 comes together with preloaded City Navigator® NT map data for the entire United States, Canada, Europe and Puerto Rico. It offers detailed NAVTEQ maps for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico with more than 6 million name-searchable points of interest. It incorporates Bluetooth wireless technology via built-in Bluetooth which enables hands-free calling and remote control. As an added convenience, it offers multi destination routing feature and 2D or 3D perspective views. In terms of security, it is integrated with Gamin Lock anti theft system. Additionally, it features spoken directions in real street names, MP3 player and photo viewer, and an FM transmitter. It measures 3.8 x 3.0 x 0.8 inches in dimension and weighs 6.2 ounces.

First off I will say that Garmin does make a great product the software is user friendly. Although I have not used the Bluetooth application yet it is nice to know it is available. I have not had it long so I cannot go through all of the features yet. But I have be able to put in multiple addresses and it has taken me to all my destinations. I have noticed that some newer shopping area and roads were not listed so you will periodically have to update the maps to get the... Read more

Be careful leaving even the suction cup on the windshield... since thiefs will smash the glass to look for the unit. My 83 year old father had his sunroof and side window smashed in, and the unit wasn't in the car! Using a USB port to charge while not in the car is no big deal. We got the unit with the european maps, since we go on cruises and like to carry the GPS to walk and explore cities. We can always find our way back to the cruise ship this way too! I got a...
