Garmin 760 is the absolute best bang for the buck.

Summary: I purchased this new back in 2009 to install in my 2008 Nissan 350Z. It was the perfect size for the little cubby in the center of the dash. Whenever I want to update it or use it on another vehicle, I just push down on the button and it pops out, no problem. For mounting reasons alone, the 760 is better than the newer Garmin GPS units that mount using a clip on the top and bottom of the screen.
Summary: I bought this in 2009 and I had screen issues a few months in. I would turn on the GPS and the screen went black it just didn't boot up but you heard the noise it makes to acknowledge that you are pressing buttons but a blank screen. I had to send it to Garmin because it was still under warranty at that time to repair it. When I got it back it immediately had issues acquiring satellite. I didn't want to send it back because they took their time with it the first time.
works great and is the perfect fit for Suzuki Sport SX4 vehicle!

Summary: Works pretty well. Sometimes the map is off, and may need updating, so make sure you have the latest updates if possible - still not sure how to do that myself, but most of the time the navigation is perfect and I like the feature that I can type in local businesses and restaurants and get a fairly accurate list of local places to go to.
Summary: I like the Garmin Nuvi 760 for my car; it works great. I had to buy a new one because my last Garmin Nuvi 760 stopped working after yrs of use. Ebay was the cheapest way to replace my old Garmin.
The Garmin nuvi 760 is a great gps unit, well worth it.

Summary: Before I get into my complaint, let me say that I really DO like this Garmin product! The 760 does as good as it's maps allow it to do. I love the MP3 player. The screen is plenty big, good color and very readable in sunlight. I've had mine several years and it still holds a good battery charge. I love adding my own POI and routes and I love that it's compatible to MapQuest so I can create a route on MapQuest and download it to my GPS.
Summary: My only complaint is county roads don't show up going down the hwy. I work cross country construction and it would be very helpful if I could see the county roads. Otherwise its easy to use and I really like it. Its my second 760 nuvi and just a little different in what you can do compared to the older version.

Summary: Loaded and wide, nüvi 760 has it all ? advanced navigation features, a widescreen display, preloaded maps, an FM transmitter, hands-free calling, traffic alerts and more. Like the rest of the wide nüvi 700-series, its premium navigation capabilities, like route planning and a handy locator, give you peace of mind on the go.
Summary: How disappointing. Garmin always made excellent gps and fish-finding equipment for boating. That's why I chose the Nuvi 760 over competing units four years ago. After a few months, the first updates came. I diligently hooked it up to my laptop and updated all the software. Performance suffered severely ever since.
Availability to sort routes ,Brighter Screen, Bluetooth is great.

Summary: Had my 760 a few weeks and first observations 1. My screen is really bright and I like it.No problem seeing it even at night. Seems brighter than the 680. 2.The mount seems improved also.Locks the Nuvi on better and has a quick release button.Easy to use. 3.Signal is great! Mine picks in 15-20 seconds after I turn it on.It is between 11-17 feet accuracy. 4.Love to be able to sort routes, That is what I bought it for and it works great so far.
