Summary: When I first received this GPS, I plugged it in to my car and tested it out as I drove to places I go almost every day like work, my daughter's house, etc. I almost returned it because it didn't direct me to a highway that was about 2 years old at the time.
Summary: My old gps quit working while I was on a long road trip. I went on line and ordered this one. The mounting flat thing isn't too much to get excited about. But the gps over all works fine. It has a larger screen than my old one, which is a plus. It seems to have all the same functions.

Summary: Had my new GPS and needed to go to an isolated garden supplier in Fairbanks Ranch, CA. Had my 88 year old mother-in-law (who is a non-stop talker; you don't need to respond , she'll carry both sides of the conversation) with me so distractions aplenty.
