Summary: I got this GPS in December.very happy when I got this product.I am a truck driver and i used this product every day ,driving local in Chicago area. A lot of miscalculations from this product. Here are some.55 north or south get on ramp (171 -ARCHER AVE.
Summary: I run regional with a 53 ft trailer to local destinations in NY, CT, Long Island, New Jersey and NYC where a unit like this is truly tested, because of a maze of low bridges, narrow streets, low hanging trees and it is a metro area of 20 million people. I read all the reviews before buying.
Summary: I owned the unit for two weeks and returned it for a refund. I love my Garmin GPS for my car so I bought their truck model. Big Mistake!!! The speaker is too quiet to hear with the road noise a truck generates. They did not include a FM Transmitter in the unit eaither.
Summary: This GPS is the worst. I thought because of the name and the years in business that this would be a great GPS. Wrong!! This GPS took me off routes to go around city blocks and onto off ramps and right back on the highway I was on.
Summary: We really wanted this GPS to be accurate. We tried it on surrounding interstates, residential areas, roads with low clearance's, fuel stops, local attractions, and places to eat. It helped to have previously owned a GPS that had a Bus setting. We were using our SUV with the Truck Setting.
Summary: Ease of use is good!! But, I was going south on I-94 in Chicago & it told me to exit the highway then get back on at the same exit (more than once on the wide side of the turn so it would not have even saved feet).
Summary: This unit was purchased from Amazon and filled by J&R. First of all the purchase and delivery went fine, BUT since 2/2010 have had to have 2 relacements and now the 3rd unit has died. J&R asked asked for a review, but when it was negative they didn't post it on their website.
Summary: terrible truck routes for NYC does not allow lincoln tunnel, holland tunnel, outerbridge, whitestone. Unit closes when you enter a non truck road and does not help get back on truck route. Over all very dissapointing.
Summary: Picked this up at J&R for my uncle, who's a truck driver. He gave me his feedback and I returned in a few days. Here's why: Pros - - Functions just like a Garmin - easy to use - NAVTEQ maps are the best - he said it had roads that PC Miler never heard of - multiple vehicle profiles Cons - - The...
