One decent bump in the road and the product stopped working
4 July 2013
Summary: I installed the GPS in my RV and used it for 2 weks. I was pleased with the ease of operation, etc. BUT, hit one decent bump in the road and received this screen message: Lost Satellite Reception. Any GPS for use in an RV or truck can't be that sensitive to minor shock.
Summary: I deliver food in a tractor trailer for a living. I decided to chuck the road and street maps out the window for a GPS. Thank God I did! I live in Jersey and had to deliver ten stops in the Baltimore, Maryland area! I could not tell you where any of the stops are... but this Garmin did.
Summary: I just send it back to amazon and i also got the TomTom pro 7150(I will review this one later). One of the reasons i return the garmin is the delay that it has, i have already pass and interception but the gps is way behind it.
Summary: I have had this for several months of use, It will get you lost, it will allow you to turn down roads you cannot be on and it IS updated properly. So use it with Caution. It will also give you false alarms such as telling you the PA Pike is low clearence and you must stop.
Summary: THE JURY IS STILL DELIBERATING ON THIS PRODUCT. MY HOPE WAS THAT IT MADE MY JOB EASIER/MORE EFFICIENT.HOWEVER--COMPARING IT TO MY OLDER MODEL 765T,IT IS HARDER TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS,THE SCREEN JUMPS BACK AND FORTH TO DIFFERENT VIEWS.
Summary: We bought these two new Garmin Nuvis to replace two that were about 8 years old. We were not disappointed in the newer ones at all. These Garmins take us places we need to go. For some unknown reason, my husband cannot drive past the VA in Albuquerque; his Garmin really helps him get around town.
Summary: i have owned a garmin for 5yrs. an i just bought an rv so i got the 465lmt ? it looks good tell you my experiance in about 6months. on the road. have a lot of places in AMERICA TO SEE. (;(: I AM A VET (AN FREEDOM ISN'T FREE} GODBLESS OUR MEN AN WOMEN
Summary: this thing comes withvery out dated maps, so you go through trouble of getting it updated (this took over 2 hours) a then you have a freshly updated peice that still has old maps. Why is it that google maps knows about all of the changes in our roads but garmin doesnt.
Summary: Too many screens to change to get info that should be on the main screen...this thing cannot even tell you what town you are in! omg! it gives only the lattitude and longitude! Try telling that to a tow truck driver!
