Summary: We bought this for our vacation from FL to TN. I had regular maps and printed directions from www.mapquest.com. The Garmin had the same route as mapquest. We used it with the sound off and mounted it on the passenger side of the windshield.
Summary: I have a several year old Garmin and bought this as an update. Unit locates satelittes much, much faster than older version. Also, while driving the unit adjusts much more rapidly if I choose an alternate route -- no repeated "recalculating".
Summary: I'm able to fine everything on it and also were I live it has every road there is highway and US Forest service road. Great product and I'm taking it everywhere with me. If someone needs a GPS I say get a Garmin.
Summary: I got a great deal on a refurbished one. Works perfectly, looks like new. The wide screen, previews showing the lanes, and the spoken road names are all nice features. It finds a signal quickly and the database seems very good. Very happy with it so far.
Summary: For what I paid for this unit, I think it is terrific. I didn't need all the bells and whistles that are on the more expensive units. This one suits my needs. Haven't had any problems with it at all. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a reliable ,but simple GPS.
