Summary: good gps works well only complaints are that it snitches you out with an annoying beep when you speed. also dont buy them from the premium trading post as they will sell you a gps with lifetime maps with out the lifetime maps.
such an upgrade from my ancient (pre flat screen) GPS.

Summary: pros - very fast satellite aquisition, good mapping, fast route calculation, decent battery 2+ hours cons - voice no longer says whether destination will be left or right side, saving locations requires going into map mode and tapping icons, rather than simple 'save location' from directions mode.
Summary: Set up was relatively easy, but they really don't give you a manual that tells you what all the features are and what they do. I went through the process of downloading the maps trial by error, but got it done. Their website was helpful. We're using our GPS for an upcoming trip to upstate New York and Canada. We haven't been to either place, so are heavily relying on this GPS to get us to our destinations.
Summary: This is a replacement for a much older Garmin GPS unit. I like the ability to download new maps to the unit for as long as it lasts. It has some nice features that the older unit did not have, such as "lane view" to show what the lanes look like as you approach a turn, and it shows the speed limit on most roads as well as your current speed. On the downside, there is not enough contrast on the display. It is hard to read in bright sunlight.
Summary: This is the first GPS reciever I have ever used so I didn't know what to expect. It works as well as it could but it is sort of hard programing it because the humbers and letters aren't big. It starts quickly and takes you where you want to go. The only thing that freaked me out was that the girl's voice sounds like a nun who was my teacher in 5th grade.
